Our Story
How We Met
Our story began unexpectedly in July 2017 at a Baltimore airport baggage claim. Two recent graduates, Paul and Savannah, were embarking on a shared adventure that would lead them to the shores of Hawaii. Amidst the beauty of the islands, a friendship blossomed during their time working together. Always trying to spend their limited time off duty together exploring Hawaii's beaches and bar scene.
Though their paths briefly diverged when Savannah took an opportunity in Germany; fate intervened eighteen months later. As luck had it, a shared passion for college football rekindled their connection across continents. Paul's graduate school was playing Savannah's university in the season opener. A bit of teasing and rivalry ensued, allowing these two to reconnect.
Returning stateside months later, Savannah told Paul she was moving to Nashville, TN, during the summer. Their friendship matured into love as they drove the three hours across Tennessee most weekends to see one another. As their hearts and lives intertwined, they adopted their beloved dog, Sazzy. Subsequently, their shared path led them to Michigan, where they currently reside, adding a second dog, Mila, shortly after their move. Throughout their eight years of friendship, Paul and Savannah have embraced countless adventures and travels, building a rich storybook of shared experiences.
Our Wedding
Where to Tie the Knot?
We are thrilled to announce our intention to exchange vows aboard a cruise ship in the Caribbean in March or April of 2026, celebrating with our cherished family and closest friends. We are currently exploring family-friendly cruise options departing from Florida and anticipate finalizing our arrangements by June, at which time detailed information will be shared on this website.
Understanding the commitments involved in taking time away for travel, we are diligently working to secure a room block with discounted rates for our guests. To best facilitate this process and ensure we can accommodate everyone's preferences, we kindly request that each potential stateroom complete the brief survey linked below at your earliest convenience. This expression of interest in either an interior or balcony stateroom will be valuable in our planning and does not constitute a booking commitment at this stage.
